Common questions
Why is my new window empty?
The clipboard may not contain text, or TesserClip may not have permission to read it. Paste with Command V, or allow clipboard access.
What do I need to run TesserClip?
A Mac with macOS 27 or later.
How do I join the beta?
Install TestFlight from the Mac App Store, then open the TesserClip beta link on your Mac.
Where are my drafts stored?
On your Mac, inside TesserClip’s own container. They’re never uploaded. See the Privacy Policy.
Known issues in 1.0 beta 1
- After you close a window, the clipboard text it opened with isn’t offered again as new text.
- The empty‑window message comes back after you delete all of a window’s text.
- If TesserClip can’t save your drafts, it doesn’t tell you yet.
